Doosan Heavy to Build India Plant

Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Ltd. plans to invest 10 billion rupees (about U.S. $220 million) on a plant in India, Sushil Kuman Shinde, India’s power minister announced last week.

Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Ltd. plans to invest 10 billion rupees (about U.S. $220 million) on a plant in India, Sushil Kuman Shinde, India’s power minister announced last week.

The facility in the northern state of Haryana is expected to be in operation by 2014.

Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction is based in Seoul, South Korea.
