ComRent Opens Service Distribution Center in Sao Paulo

ComRent, a leading provider of load bank rentals, has opened a service distribution center in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in partnership with Poit Energia, the market leader in rental generators and temporary infrastructure in Latin America. ComRent will service Brazil, Chile and Peru. Its joint venture with Poit Energia provides load-bank rental and maintenance solutions for all power generating equipment used in data centers, utility substations, wind farms and oil and gas refineries.

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration’s 2011 International Energy Outlook report, Brazil is the ninth-largest energy consumer in the world, and the third-largest in the Western Hemisphere after the United States and Canada.
