Bauma China Expects Record Event in November

Bauma China 2010, to be held Nov. 23-26 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre is preparing for a record event, with about 1,700 exhibitors from 30 countries and 220,000 square meters (about 2.37 million square feet) of exhibition space fully book, according to Messe Munchen GmbH, event organizers.

“As the organizer of bauma in Munich, which has been the leading trade fair for the international construction industry for five decades, we have succeeded in transferring our concept for success into the growth markets,” said Eugen Egetenmeir, member of the management board of MMG.

Egetenmeir said 286 Chinese exhibitors will be at Bauma China 2010, third behind Germany and Italy.

Egetenmeir added that exhibition space is selling briskly for bC India, to be held in Mumbai, India, in February 2011, with 80,000 square meters of space sold.
