Baird Capital Partners Asia Invests in Beijing Scaffolding Rental Outfit

Baird Capital Partners Asia, the China-focused growth equity investment group of Baird Private Equity, led an investment in Beijing ADG Scaffolding Engineering Co., the Milwaukee-based company said last week, the Business Journal of Milwaukee reported.

Baird Capital Partners Asia, the China-focused growth equity investment group of Baird Private Equity, led an investment in Beijing ADG Scaffolding Engineering Co., the Milwaukee-based company said last week, the Business Journal of Milwaukee reported.

ADG is a Beijing-based manufacturer and provider of rental services for scaffolding equipment, with a customer base that includes some of the largest construction companies in China. Its projects have included the Beijing Airport, the 2008 Beijing Olympics and 2010 Asian Games. As part of the transaction, Baird Capital Asia partner Huaming Gu will join the ADG board of directors.

ADG is the second company in BCPA’s portfolio, joining Frontage Laboratories, a U.S.-China contract research organization.
