Atlas Copco Wins $24 Million Order for Road Construction Equipment in China

Atlas Copco last week received an order for Dynapac-branded rollers and pavers from China-based Xuzhou Gongli Road and Bridge Construction Machinery Co. Ltd, valued at approximately MSEK 170 (about U.S $24.3 million). The order was signed at a formal ceremony during the Bauma exhibition in Shanghai, China.

Atlas Copco last week received an order for Dynapac-branded rollers and pavers from China-based Xuzhou Gongli Road and Bridge Construction Machinery Co. Ltd, valued at approximately MSEK 170 (about U.S $24.3 million). The order was signed at a formal ceremony during the Bauma exhibition in Shanghai, China.

The equipment will be used to construct highways, bridges, dams and airports throughout China and will be delivered during a six-month period in 2010/2011.

Xuzhou Gongli Road and Bridge Construction Machinery Co. is a rapidly growing construction equipment contractor doing business in five major provinces of China. The company was established in 1994 and operates out of Xuzhou, Jiangsu province, in East China.

Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, Atlas Copco is an industrial group that produces compressors, construction and mining equipment, power tools and assembly systems.
