Volvo Construction Equipment Rents last week announced the opening of its 50th Volvo CE Rents equipment rental center in North America since the company began its rental franchise initiative in 2001.

Rocky Rentals, Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, the third Volvo CE Rents franchise under contract in Canada (the second in Alberta), has opened its first independently owned and operated Volvo CE Rents center in Canada — and Volvo CE Rents 50th center. The new rental center is owned by Clayton Ness and Douglas Baumann.

Volvo CE Rents now has equipment rental centers open in Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, California, Tennessee, Ohio, South Carolina, Louisiana, New York, Minnesota, Arkansas, New Jersey, Alabama, Kentucky, Illinois, New Mexico, Washington, Pennsylvania, Texas, Mississippi, Maryland — and now, Canada.

Asheville, N.C.-based Volvo Rents is No. 19 on the RER 100.
