United Rentals last week opened a branch in Atlanta and a contractor supplies distribution center in Denver.
The Atlanta branch is a 5,000-square-foot facility in an area branch manager Jason Miller said is “devoted to expanding its appeal as an industrial hub, with aggressive economic development and modernization of its infrastructure.”
The new 32,000-square-foot distribution center is the eighth of nine planned regional warehouses planned throughout the United States and Canada.
The Denver center will fulfill customer orders placed through about 40 branches in Colorado, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico and Utah. United already has distribution centers in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Illinois, California, Texas and Oregon, as well as Ontario, Canada.
United Rentals has more than 760 branches in 48 states, 10 Canadian provinces and Mexico. Based in Greenwich, Conn., it is No. 1 on the RER 100.
