Intensus Engineering and Tiger Equipment have jointly announced a strategic partnership with Tiger, a distributor based in Rocky Mount, Va., responsible for rental, sales and dealer development for Intensus in the United States.

Intensus products in the U.S. will include 2 to 4 cubic yard wheel loaders, 2.5 to 12-ton asphalt rollers, vibratory rollers from 8 to 20 tons, motor graders and bulldozers. Tiger offers compactors, mixers, power trowels, floor saws, mini skid steer loaders and attachments. Tiger also maintains a marketing partnership with Smith portable compressors.

“This partnership with Tiger brings energy and national exposure,” said J. Carlos Salcedo, managing director of Intensus. Salcedo said Intensus is the market leader in many Asian countries, currently producing more than 14,000 earthmoving and road-building machines per year. Salcedo said Intensus plans to market excavators in the U.S. as well.

“[Intensus’] products tested well beyond expectations and are a natural complement to our light equipment line,” said Tiger Equipment president Charles Trelease.”
