Denver-based heavy equipment rental specialist Power Motive Corp. will expand into northern Colorado this week by breaking ground on a new facility in Milliken, Colo. The 40-year-old company already has branches in Colorado Springs and Grand Junction. Company officials said they expect to take in more than $12 million annually in the first two years of operation in Milliken.

Power Motive president Jay Baugher told the Greeley Tribune that northern Colorado has always been a strong area for the company.

The new building will be 18,000 square feet and will employ more than 20 people, 13 of whom will be service personnel. Baugher said that after opening the Milliken store, Power Motive will look for more expansion opportunities in southern and western Colorado.

Power Motive represents major equipment brands such as Komatsu, Dynapac, CMI, Gradall, Allied Construction, Trail King, ESCO and more. In addition to short-term rentals, the company offers equipment sales, long-term rentals, used equipment, parts and service and equipment financing.
