Andrew Agoos, a respected leader in construction equipment fleet management, has joined Neff Rental in the newly created position of vice president of fleet, the company said last week.

Assuming direct responsibility for managing Neff’s entire fleet, Agoos will reinforce and enhance the company’s maintenance standards, administer equipment acquisitions and manage equipment disposition.

“Neff Rental is pleased to have Andy Agoos join our management team, and to lead Neff Rental’s fleet operations toward consistently higher levels of excellence,” said Graham Hood, Neff’s chief operating officer. “Under Andy’s experienced leadership, Neff will consistently provide our customers with the quality equipment they need and when they need it.”

Agoos brings more than 40 of years experience in fleet and equipment management to Neff. Most recently, he was senior vice president of Florida-based Hubbard Construction’s equipment division. For 17 years, he managed Hubbard’s 2,000-piece support fleet. For the previous 13 years, Agoos managed the central equipment operations for Dallas-based Austin Industries, a southern states general contractor with $122 million worth of heavy fleet.

Miami-based Neff Rental is No. 9 on the RER 100.
