Vancouver, B.C.-based Finning International announced last week that its Canadian division, Finning Canada, received an order from Suncor Energy, to purchase an equipment and support services package worth about $115 million Canadian. About 20 percent of the contract relates to the renewal of an earlier product support services agreement.

The transaction includes nine Cat 797B off-highway trucks that will be delivered over the next year, plus a 10-year product support agreement and an option on six additional trucks.

The trucks are being used in the Athabasca oil sands in Alberta.
