CNH Global last week said it will donate more than $1 million of Case and New Holland construction equipment to support ongoing relief and restoration efforts related to Hurricane Katrina. The contribution includes about $200,000 of construction equipment from Kobelco, its global alliance partner.

CNH continues to work closely with its dealers in the region, with the Business Roundtable’s Partnership for Disaster Relief and with the National Association of Manufacturers to channel assistance to federal and state relief efforts supporting hurricane victims.

CNH also announced it will match individual employee donations to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund on a dollar-by-dollar basis up to $250,000.

Based in Lake Forest, Ill., CNH Global includes the Case and New Holland brands.
