General Equipment Co. introduces the new EP8ACP15 BLOW-R-PAC ventilation blower, which features a durable, corrosion-resistant polyethylene housing that is a lighter and more economical alternative to steel units. The EP8ACP15 is designed for supplying fresh air to confined spaces in nonhazardous locations. It can also be used for a variety of other tasks, such as drying damp areas and cooling personnel in utility trenches. The unit offers an 8-inch output diameter and produces 900 cfm of free air flow. It is powered by a single-speed, ¼-hp motor that operates from a standard 115-volt electrical outlet. The unit comes standard with a 15-foot flexible duct and an integral storage canister.

Allmand Bros. offers its upgraded Maxi-Heat portable heater with higher static pressure and longer ducting. The static pressure increased from .5-inch to 2.3-inch water column, allowing Allmand to increase the length of the Maxi-Heat's 16-inch ducting from 40 feet to 110 feet. The Maxi-Heat features twin heater units that produce a maximum of 1.01 million BTUs and may be operated independently depending on heating requirements. A standard 1,800-rpm liquid-cooled Isuzu 3CD or optional CAT C1.5 diesel engine with regulated generator provides power for the heaters and electrical accessories. A 191-gallon fuel tank provides more than 24 hours of operation without refueling.
