Woodco Machinery, a Volvo Construction Equipment dealer headquartered in Woburn, Mass., serving eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, has acquired certain assets from the Volvo Construction Equipment & Services Southborough, Mass., location.
As a result of the transaction, Woodco has now added Volvo compaction, paving and milling products to its existing portfolio, which prior to the acquisition already included wheel loaders, excavators, articulated haulers, motor graders, compact wheel loaders and excavators, skid-steer and backhoe loaders.
“The transition of these products from the Southborough VCES store to our dealership will be seamless and uninterrupted,” said Bob Benard, Woodco Machinery president. “We welcome customers of the Southborough VCES branch to our dealership, where they will receive the very best of service, product, and support that Volvo Construction Equipment and Woodco have to offer.”
VCES will remain the authorized dealer for Ingersoll Rand (portable handheld tools), Doosan Portable Power (air compressors, generators and light towers), and Skyjack (rough terrain telescopic forklifts).
Volvo CE develops, manufactures and markets equipment for construction and related industries. Its products include a comprehensive range of wheel loaders, hydraulic excavators, articulated haulers, motor graders, soil and asphalt compactors, pavers, milling machines and compact equipment.
