Volvo Rents Hardhat Comedy Tour stopped last week at Lorenzo’s Timonium Dinner Theatre in Timonium, Md., near Baltimore. The show featured comics Matt Kazam, Kelly Terranova and emcee Andy Kline.

The show benefitted the Maryland Food Bank and the Johns Hopkins Avon Foundation Breast Center. “We need events like this to continue to show contractors and the community that we care,” said Cris Leatherwood, owner of the Volvo Rents stores in Fallston and Jessup, Md. “We’re grateful to our construction customers for their support in this effort, and to Lorenzo’s Timonium Dinner Theatre for providing the venue.”

Volvo Rents’ Operation More Care is a philanthropic umbrella that currently supports local and national charities, including the military, local food banks, breast cancer research, home building, and more. Volvo Rents has put together the 15-plus city Hardhat Comedy tour that offers free admission when attendees donate three or more non-perishable food items to their local food bank, bring personal care items needed by troops overseas, or a monetary donation for veterans. The tour has already raised thousands of pounds of food for local food banks and substantial charitable donations for our active duty and retired troops.

Kazam is a veteran comic with 19 years of experience. He has made television appearances on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” Fox’s “Big Red Couch,” Comedy Central’s “Stand-Up Stand-Up,” VH-1’s “Fools For Love,” TLC’s “Two For Vegas,” The Discovery Channel’s “Lux List.”

Kelly Terranova is a comedian who has been featured on CMT’s Comedy Stage, FOX Sports and the NASCAR Speed Channel.
