Pape Rents was part of the Pape Group of companies that includes Deere and Ditch Witch dealerships, materials handling and rental locations, and more than 60 locations throughout the western United States.

Volvo Rents already has rental centers in Eloy, Miami, Thatcher and Tucson, Ariz.

“We are able to add Don Myrick and his topnotch staff to the Volvo Rents team, which was the real key to this acquisition,” said Mike Crouch, vice president of business development for Volvo Rents. “Our strong brand recognition, coupled with the growing demand for construction equipment rental, allows us to look to the future with great enthusiasm. That local oversight is crucial to the Volvo Rents approach. Ten percent of our customers do 80 percent of the business, and giving them a VIP level of service is paramount.”
