Volvo Rents Acquires Inland Rentals, its Idaho Franchise Store

Volvo Rents has acquired Inland Rentals, a single-location construction equipment rental company in Post Falls, Idaho. Inland Rentals was a Volvo Rents franchise before being acquired by Volvo Rents, one of nearly 50 companies it has acquired in the past year.

“As the recession continues to force contractors to be financially prudent, the construction equipment rental industry is projected to be one of the fastest growing in North America, as more people are choosing to rent rather than commit to capital expenditures,” said Mike Crouch, vice president of business development for Volvo Rents.

Stacy Peterson, who founded Inland Rentals in 2006, plans to continue with the company in a consulting role.
