Rudd initially plans to open three new facilities in Cincinnati, Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio, to serve the needs of the Ohio market. The new agreement for Ohio took effect Sept. 1.

Additional information about Rudd, its support capabilities, locations and contact information can be found on Rudd’s website: www.ruddequipment.com.

Rudd Equipment Co. provided sales and service for Volvo’s general purpose construction and compact equipment for many years before adding the Volvo CE road machinery product lines to its portfolio in January 2008. Rudd Equipment Co. maintains its own parts freight system to provide 98 percent next-day parts availability to its customers. In conjunction with its move into Ohio, Rudd plans to significantly expand and upgrade its central parts warehouse to continue to provide the level of service its existing customers expect and its new Ohio customers demand.

“We are delighted to expand our association with such an experienced and customer-oriented company,” said Göran Lindgren, president and CEO of Volvo Construction Equipment North America, Asheville, N.C. “Rudd brings over 50 years of strong service, dedicated customer support and extensive industry knowledge and experience to this important marketplace.”
