As reported last week in RER Reports, Case Construction Equipment has inked a supplier agreement with True Value Co., one of the world’s largest retailer-owned hardware cooperatives with more than 1,000 rental locations. The agreement enables True Value Rental, Taylor Rental, Just Ask Rental and Grand Rental Station locations to purchase Case construction equipment for their rental location.

“Both Case and True Value enjoy a strong presence in the United States,” said Pat Hunt, director of strategic accounts for Case Construction Equipment.

The agreement focuses on Case skid-steer loaders, compact track loaders, loader/backhoes, rough-terrain forklifts, wheel loaders, excavators, telescopic handlers and compaction equipment. “This is a great outlet for our compact equipment offerings, especially Case skid-steers and compact excavators,” added Hunt.

Case gave rental operators at True Value’s annual Rental Market expo last month the opportunity to test Case equipment. “As a result of the successes at the event, we have already put Case equipment into True Value rental operations,” said Hunt.

Based in Chicago, True Value Co. has more than 600 Just Ask Rental counters, 450 Grand Rental Station and Taylor Rental locations, and more than 250 True Value Garden Showplace locations.
