Located in Bolton, Ontario, Canada, about 50 kilometers northwest of Toronto, Albion Rental has developed a strong reputation in the area. Albion’s senior management team, including its president and owner Carl Sant, will continue in leadership roles with Cooper.

“The addition of Albion Rental’s dependable equipment fleet, dedicated group of rental professionals and first-rate facility will allow us to expand our geographic presence while maintaining our commitment to strong customer service,” said Doug Dougherty, president of Cooper.

“Albion Rental shares our passion for serving GTA contractors and we’re excited to have the opportunity to add an exceptional facility and team in Bolton,” added Darryl Cooper, G. Cooper Equipment Rental CEO.

Sant added that he and his team are impressed by the growth and momentum that Cooper has demonstrated. “I have known the Cooper senior management team for many years and I am confident that our customers will continue to enjoy excellent service following this transaction.”

GCER also has branches in the downtown Toronto, Rexdale, Scarborough and York areas. In June 2013, Cooper received a majority investment from Halifax, Nova Scotia-based SeaFort Capital.
