“The Terex and Genie brands and their breadth of products are well respected in the industry,” said Del Carver, area director, North America Compact, Terex Construction. “By combining our resources and strengths, Terex will be able to meet customer needs by being one single supplier for our customers. Having access to a broader range of products will better position our customers for a future upswing in the construction market.”

“As Terex continues to broaden its market presence in North America, it is important that we use the entire breadth of our product lines to meet the needs of our customer base,” added Jim Barr, vice president global channel development, Terex Aerial Work Platforms. “This new cross-selling initiative will allow both Terex business segments to concentrate on supplying their customers with the most complete product offering available from one source.”

Through the initiative, rental customers and distributors will meet with Terex representatives to review their equipment needs for the right inventory mix. Equipment handling and service training on the compact construction and AWP products will be provided to store personnel as required.

“This initiative ensures that Terex and its distributors and rental channel partners are able to supply the equipment they need to be successful, and customers will save time by getting all of their equipment needs met from a single source,” said Carver.
