Takeuchi-U.S. has named Waukesha-Pearce Industries as the latest addition to expanding dealer network in North America. WPI will carry the full Takeuchi line of compact earthmoving equipment throughout its locations in Texas.

With humble beginnings during the Texas oilfield boom in 1924, Louis Pearce, Sr. founded the Portable Rotary Rig Co., the forerunner of the enterprise that is known today as Waukesha-Pearce Industries. Officially founded in 1967 by merging Waukesha Sales & Service and Pearce Equipment Co., WPI has specialized in the sales and service of earthmoving, recycling, gas compression, power generation, small engine, lawn and mining equipment for almost 90 years.

“WPI has built a legacy through nearly a century of hard work and dedication to the changing needs of its customers,” said John Vranches, Takeuchi national sales manager. “We are happy that they have chosen to add the Takeuchi line of earthmoving equipment to their product offering, and wish them continued success.”

Takeuchi manufactures an extensive line of compact track loaders, compact excavators, compact wheel loaders and skid-steer loaders.
