A new rental business will hold its official grand opening this week in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan. Southwest Rentals is owned by Kyle Bennett who discovered the need for a local equipment rental business while remodeling his home in 2008, according to an article in The Shaunavon Standard.
Unable to find a place to rent tools locally, Bennett, who also operates Bennett Real Estate, was inspired to open the business on a property he recently purchased.
Southwest Rentals offers a variety of rental items including personal lifts, scissorlifts, skid-steer loaders, floor sanders, air compressors, generators, lighting equipment and many other general-use tools.
The business is hosting a barbecue lunch and open house on Friday, June 1.
