Sany America recently named Hawkins-Graves Inc. its first excavator dealer in the state of Virginia.

Headquartered in Lynchburg, Va., Hawkins-Graves specializes in sale, rental and service of new and used construction equipment, including excavators, backhoes, motor graders, skid steers, wheel loaders, telescopic handlers, aerial work platforms, compactors, industrial saws, trowels and more.

“Hawkins-Graves has been taking care of customer needs for nearly 50 years,” said Eric Teague, Sany America vice president and general manager of the Earthmoving Group. “You stay in business that long by doing things right. That’s why we’re pleased to partner with Hawkins-Graves to sell and support Sany excavators in Virginia.”

In 2009, Hawkins-Graves acquired Virginia Track & Equipment Co., another heavy equipment dealer in Lynchburg, Va. Hawkins-Graves’ Sany territory includes central and western Virginia.

“We’re very excited about Sany excavators,” said John Jordan, co-owner of Hawkins-Graves, along with his brother, Matt Jordan. “Their performance, high-quality design, and low overall cost of operation will be very attractive to our customers. Today more than ever, contractors are looking for reliable equipment, which combines low operating cost with high productivity, providing value to help their businesses be more competitive. We strongly believe Sany excavators offer our customers great value and will be a very good solution, especially backed by Hawkins-Graves product support.”

Sany America’s excavator offerings include the 7.5-ton SY75C, the 13.5-ton SY135C, the 21.5-ton SY215C and the 23.5-ton SY235C.
