The Scaffold & Access Industry Association Plank & Platform council revised the SAIA Plank & Platform Inspection Guidelines, SAIA said. The updated document is part of the complimentary safety downloads available to the scaffold and access industry to use as a resource to assist in creating processing for inspecting planks and platforms.
The document is a thorough training tool for education on scaffold planks and platforms of a variety of materials. Included are identification tips, descriptions of common damages, visual inspection guidance and care and handling recommendations.
