Ritchie Bros. to Hold Public Auction of United Rentals Equipment November 2

Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, the world’s largest industrial auctioneer, will conduct a one-owner public auction for United Rentals Nov. 2. More than 575 lifting, aerial and general equipment rental items such as loader backhoes, crawler tractors, skid-steer loaders, scissorlifts, telescopic forklifts, equipment trailers, heaters and more, are located at six different locations in the Mid-Atlantic, including Ridgefield Park, N.J., and East Syracuse, N.Y.

The auction will take place at the Ritchie Bros. permanent auction site in North East, Md., Nov. 2 and interested buyers can inspect the equipment and pick up the items after purchase at United Rentals locations in New York, New Jersey, Georgia and Connecticut as well as Ritchie Bros. sites in Maryland and Ohio and on Ritchie’s website at rbauction.com. All the items will be sold to the highest bidders on auction day, regardless of price. Bids can be made at the auction site or online in real time at www.rbauction.com.

“Most of the equipment in this auction is not even half-life,” said Kevin Parr, eastern regional vice president for United Rentals. “There is a nice blend of equipment across many equipment categories.”
