Red-D-Arc Parent Airgas Renews Kiewit Agreement

Airgas Inc. announced it has signed a three-year extension to its industrial gases and welding products supply agreement with Kiewit Corp., a Fortune 500 employee-owned construction company. Airgas, parent of leading welding rental company Red-D-Arc Welderentals, said estimated revenues from the agreement will total $6 million.

“For the past three years, we’ve worked with Kiewit to understand the challenges in supplying gases and welding equipment to their jobsites across the country,” said Jack Appolonia, Airgas vice president, construction. “We will continue to deliver the value Kiewit expects of the industrial gases, welding equipment and supplies, and Red-D-Arc welding equipment rentals Airgas provides to more than 280 Kiewit jobsites nationwide.”

Based in Austell, Ga., and Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada, Red-D-Arc Welderentals is No. 23 on the RER 100.
