Point-of-Rental System’s Cloud has been selected as a finalist in the 2014-2015 Cloud Awards Program for Best Software as a Service within the United States.

Point-of-Rental System’s Cloud has been selected as a finalist in the 2014-2015 Cloud Awards Program for Best Software as a Service within the United States. This is the fourth year that the Cloud Awards has accepted entries from all around the world and now organizations of any size, including start-ups and government bodies are included.

Point-of-Rental Systems’ Cloud also won the Gold Award on RER’s Innovative Product Award, announced last month.

“Being recognized as a finalist for the best SaaS in the United States is a great accomplishment, particularly as this is the first year that Point-of-Rental Cloud has been released,” said Wayne Harris, CEO of Point-of-Rental Systems. “We work hard to give our customers continued excellence with all of our products and services.”

“We’ve been very impressed with how the Cloud ecosystem has evolved by the end of 2014 and these best-of-breed organizations are knocking it out of the park in terms of performance,” said Larry Johnson, Cloud Awards organizer. “These technologies aren’t going away: leverage them now or ignore them at your peril.”

The 300-plus organizations that submitted entries are spread across the world, covering the Americas, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East.

Final winners will be announced Jan. 27, along with a public vote to determine the Cloud Computing Organization of the Year Award.

Point-of-Rental Systems was founded in 1983 and provides rental and inventory management software to more than 1,800 companies worldwide. It is based in Grand Prairie, Texas.
