NES Studio Rentals Inks Deal With Albuquerque Studios

NES Rentals Studio Division last week finalized a multi-year deal with Albuquerque Studios, a $74 million film and television back-lot facility currently under construction, to be its exclusive provider of heavy equipment.

NES Rentals Studio Division last week finalized a multi-year deal with Albuquerque Studios, a $74 million film and television back-lot facility currently under construction, to be its exclusive provider of heavy equipment. The 450,000-square-foot under roof studio, consisting of eight sound stages, office space, back-lot space, set construction space and post-production suites is scheduled to open in early 2007.

NES Rentals Studio Division, based in Sylmar, Calif., is one of the industry’s largest rental companies catering to studios with 24 Local 399 teamsters, drivers, mechanics and yard personnel. NES will provide Albuquerque Studios with black-arm booms, scissor lifts, forklifts, light towers, gators and generators for lighting, set building and other production needs.
