NES Rental Holdings, one of the largest aerial equipment rental companies in North America, has implemented the Aerial Work Platform Training “Click It!” campaign designed to increase jobsite safety and reduce injuries when operating aerial work platforms.

The campaign, developed by AWPT, incorporates a sticker placed on boom lifts to remind and encourage operators to wear a full-body harness with a short lanyard attached to a suitable anchor point whenever they are in the platform. NES has committed to placing the “Click It!” stickers on all its boomlifts.

“We are committed to doing everything we can to create a safer work environment for our customers and employees,” said Chris Bowers, NES senior vice president. “If placing ‘Click It!’ stickers on our boomlifts can prevent even one injury that could have been avoided, our efforts will have been worth it.”

NES also provides annual training to its employees to emphasize the importance of using a suitable harness and restraint system when operating aerial work platforms.
