National Trench Safety, a Houston-based company specializing in the rental and sales of trench and traffic safety equipment, as well as OSHA-compliant training classes, has opened a new service and repair facility in Burlington, N.C. The new service center will focus on the more complex repair and service functions for the company’s rental fleet as well as performing fabrication and customizations to new rental fleet additions before they go into service.
“As we continue our expansion of our national branch footprint, we must continue to build the internal infrastructure to support our current and future branch locations,” said NTS president Ron Chilton. “While this new facility will not be doing direct rentals and sales to the customer base, these service centers are an integral part of our national operations model. Due to the significant safe-working environment much of our equipment is designed to provide, it is vitally important to maintain our industry-leading quality-control programs to assure our equipment is performing at or above its designed specifications and parameters. We needed the presence in Burlington, to support our new Charleston, S.C., branch as well as our existing customer projects and future locations along the East Coast.”
The Burlington service center is the 14th operational facility for National Trench Safety in the United States. NTS now has operations in Arizona, California, Louisiana, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and Utah.
