Nashville, Tenn.-based Equipment Finders, a three-location rental company, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, NashvillePost.com reported last week.

According to court papers filed this month, the general construction and industrial rental company has estimated liabilities of $10 million to $50 million, with assets estimated in the same range.

A 2008 profile on Equipment Finders on Inc.com said the company was founded in 1996 and generated $9.8 million of revenue in 2007. The report said the company has grown almost 90 percent in its previous three years.

An attorney representing the company said Equipment Finders will continue its operations while using the Chapter 11 process to refinance its long-term equipment financing.

The company, founded in 1996, previously entered Chapter 11 protection in 2002, emerging in 2004.
