Michigan Rental Acquires Michigan-Based Titan Equipment

April 19, 2013

Michigan Rental LLC, owned by the Indianapolis-based MacAllister family who are sole owners of Caterpillar dealerships in Indiana and Michigan, has acquired the assets of Cedar Rapids, Mich.-based Titan Equipment. With five facilities across the state, Titan was established in 2006 and operates industrial rental locations in Byron Center, Lansing, Midland, Traverse City and Wixom, Mich.

“We have targeted the expansion of our rental presence across the state of Michigan as top priority,” said Chris MacAllister, president of MacAllister Machinery. “The acquisition of Titan increases locations from one to six. Titan will benefit from Cat machines, software, systems and an established Cat customer base. Michigan customers gain instant access to five additional facilities, an excellent organization with a great reputation and a high level of customer service.”

Titan customers will now have a broader, more diverse line of equipment and additional locations across the state.
