MacAllister Machinery Seeks Zoning Change for Intended New Headquarters

May 16, 2014

MacAllister Machinery, Caterpillar dealer for Indiana and Michigan is planning to build a new headquarters on more than 130 acres in Indianopolis, according to InsideIndianaBusiness.com. The company plans to rezone the property, which must be approved by the Metropolitan Development Commission hearing examiner, the report said.

The plan calls for the headquarters to include corporate offices, rental and storage space. The property is currently farming land on the city’s southeast side.

MacAllister has been at its current location since the 1960s and, the report says, expects the new site to offer room to expand for two decades or more.

MacAllister Machinery is No. 33 on the new RER 100.
