Lifting Gear Hire Corp. last week named Douglas Dikun safety administrator, to be responsible for continually modifying the company’s safety programs. Job functions will include internal safety training, safety coordination throughout LGH locations, and customer safety and rigging training.

Lifting Gear Hire Corp. last week named Douglas Dikun safety administrator, to be responsible for continually modifying the company’s safety programs. Job functions will include internal safety training, safety coordination throughout LGH locations, and customer safety and rigging training.

Dikun’s experience includes health, safety and environment, including fall protection, scaffolding, excavation, forklift, respiratory, hearing protection, ergonomics, machine guarding, walking and working surfaces, lockout/tagout, risk analysis, confined space, hot works, hazardous communication, emergency response planning, return to work, emergency response planning, first aid, workers’ compensation, accident investigation and OSHA recordkeeping and reporting.

Dikun has more than 15 years experience providing OSHA and EPA compliance training along with company safety program development to plumbers, electricians, roofers, masonry contractors, carpenters, ironworkers and various areas of manufacturing. He has more than five years experience with laser operator and robotics environment safety and is OSHA trained and certified in various training areas.
