Lewis Crane & Hoist Opens Las Vegas Branch

Lewis Crane & Hoist, the mobile crane division of Grand Prairie, Texas-based Lewis Equipment, has opened a mobile crane branch in Las Vegas. The branch will complement the tower crane, construction elevators and rigging services the company currently provides in Las Vegas.

Lewis Crane & Hoist, the mobile crane division of Grand Prairie, Texas-based Lewis Equipment, has opened a mobile crane branch in Las Vegas. The branch will complement the tower crane, construction elevators and rigging services the company currently provides in Las Vegas.

Lewis will offer conventional and hydraulic truck cranes, rough-terrain cranes and crawler cranes with lifting capacities between 40 and 300 tons throughout the equipment line.

Lewis Crane & Hoist will provide hourly and long-term crane services in Las Vegas and throughout Nevada. The branch will also be used to support the rigging services of the Lewis Equipment tower crane and construction elevator fleet. Lewis Equipment is currently providing tower cranes and construction elevators on the massive City Center project. Lewis recently provided machines for the construction of the Belagio, Caesar’s Palace, Wynn and The Palms.

Lewis has branches in Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, Pensacola and Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Seattle and New Zealand. The company is the exclusive North American distributor of SunCrane tower cranes, Hercules elevators and Zoomlion truck and crawler cranes.

Darrell Shaw was named operations manager of the new Las Vegas branch.
