Komatsu Equipment Dealership Celebrates 60 Years with Customer Events

Komatsu Equipment Co. will celebrate its 60th year in business in 2012 with customer and employee events throughout the year.

Komatsu Equipment Co. will celebrate its 60th year in business in 2012 with customer and employee events throughout the year. Originally founded in 1952 as Rocky Mountain Machinery Co. in Salt Lake City, the company merged with Pioneer Equipment Co. in 1997 to form KEC, which also includes rental among its services.

Customer appreciation events will be held at the following branch locations:

· Salt Lake City, July 10;

· St. George, Utah, July 20;

· Reno, Nev., Aug. 14;

· Elko, Nev., Aug. 16;

· Gillette, Wyo., Aug. 29;

· Las Vegas, October.

Komatsu Equipment services all makes and models of heavy equipment in the construction, utility and mining industries. Its brands include Komatsu, Sakai America, Geith, Hensley, Indecco, Topcon Positioning, Werk-Brau and REICHdrill. The company is headquartered in Salt Lake City.
