Kohler Promotes Melka to President of Engines Americas

Following Kohler’s recent appointment of Tom Cromwell to group president at Kohler Co.’s Power Group last month, the company promoted Brian Melka to president – Engines Americas.

Following Kohler’s recent appointment of Tom Cromwell to group president at Kohler Co.’s Power Group last month, the company promoted Brian Melka to president – Engines Americas. Melka assumes full responsibility for the engines business in the Americas region, establishing strategic direction, managing operational demands, driving growth and profitability objectives, and attracting and developing talent.

Melka will also have worldwide responsibility for new product development, marketing and overall growth of the gasoline engines product lines. Melka joined Kohler in 2013 as vice president.

Prior to Kohler, Melka worked in executive capacities at Rexnord Corp, most recently as vice president of global mining and product management. He spent 12 years working at various Textron businesses, including Greenlee Textron and Jacobsen Textron.
