JESCO Acquires Standard Equipment

JESCO, a John Deere construction dealership with a large rental fleet based in South Plainfield, N.J., has acquired Standard Equipment, based in Frederick, Md.

JESCO, a John Deere construction dealership with a large rental fleet based in South Plainfield, N.J., has acquired Standard Equipment, based in Frederick, Md.

Standard Equipment has five locations. The acquisition expands JESCO’s coverage of Delaware, Maryland, and the Washington, D.C. metro area. JESCO will offer Deere heavy construction and compact construction equipment, including skid-steer loaders, compact track loaders, mini-excavators and compact wheel loaders. JESCO will also offer its emissions solution products and services to contractors bidding on work in non-attainment zones.

JESCO said it has retained many key Standard Equipment employees.

For more than 37 years, JESCO has supplied contractors and municipalities in New Jersey and the New York metro area with Deere, Hitachi, Bomag, Hypac, Indeco, Genesis, Hydrema, Cleaire, LeeBoy and Rosco equipment. In addition to its South Plainfield headquarters, JESCO has branches in Fairfield and Lumberton, N.J., and Beacon, N.Y.
