IronPlanet Expands into New Corporate Headquarters

July 17, 2013

IronPlanet, an online marketplace for used heavy equipment, this week announced the relocation of its corporate headquarters in Pleasanton, Calif. The new space offers 19,200 square feet of contiguous space.

“We are excited to move our headquarters to an updated, larger space,” said Doug Feick, senior vice president of corporate development and general counsel, IronPlanet. “The new office has added about 6,000 square feet, which enables our employees to work in a more collaborative environment and allows for potential expansions to our business in the future.”

Focusing closely on the layout, lighting and configuration of the space, IronPlanet designed its new headquarters to better accommodate employee needs. The open design offers individual work stations and collaborative space, such as conference rooms equipped with technology, to encourage innovation. The contiguous office also allows employees to communicate more easily, driving improved productivity and enhanced service.

IronPlanet is backed by Accel Partners, Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers, Caterpillar, Komatsu and Volvo.
