Lockwood has worked closely with engineering, accounting, finance, production and human resources. As a former teacher, Lockwood is particularly strong at mentoring and teaching sales techniques.

“I think this is a very timely service,” Lockwood told RER at The Rental Show. “I’ve always particularly enjoyed mentoring sales people, I feel that’s one of my strengths and many companies can use this type of service during these uncertain times.” Lockwood’s target market is small companies involved in manufacturing that are evolving in business, particularly ones that may lack sales and marketing structure and knowledge.

Lockwood has a master’s degree in marketing from Northern Illinois University and a bachelors degree from Westminster College. He has been an active member of AEM and was past chairman of the 1995 Light Equipment Executive Committee that sponsored the highly successful “Forces of Change 2000” seminars. Lockwood served as co-chairman of the AED Light Equipment Round Table in 1994 and chaired the Light Equipment Distributor Council in 1996. He served as chairman of the ARA Exhibitor Advisory Committee in 2005 and 2006.

Lockwood was also a marketing instructor at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Now based in York, S.C., he can be reached at [email protected].
