ICUEE ’07 Breaks Attendance Records

The 2007 International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition achieved all-time records for attendance, exhibitors and exhibit space, and educational programming during its Oct. 16-18 run at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Ky.

The 2007 International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition achieved all-time records for attendance, exhibitors and exhibit space, and educational programming during its Oct. 16-18 run at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Ky.

Also known as The Demo Expo, or simply ICUEE, the 2008 show attracted 17,950 utility and construction industry professionals with electric, sewer/water, phone/cable, gas, general construction, government and landscaping jobs, according to event staff. The attendance was 9.5-percent higher than ICUEE 2005.

More than 845 exhibitors used more than 1,155 million net square feet of exhibit space to display and demonstrate equipment, an area covering more than 26.5 acres. Educational highlights included an Underground Construction Technology education program and seminars focused on fleet management issues.
