Hyundai Names VPs of Distribution/Marketing, Construction Equipment Sales

Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas has named two new vice presidents – Stan Park is the new vice president of distribution and marketing and Tom Owen is now vice president of national construction equipment sales, effective immediately.

Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas has named two new vice presidents – Stan Park is the new vice president of distribution and marketing and Tom Owen is now vice president of national construction equipment sales, effective immediately.

Park will be responsible for leading the teams in charge of building and supporting Hyundai’s growing dealer network and overall marketing efforts. Most recently Park served as strategic distribution manager for the company, responsible for marketing and district sales management, strategic dealer development and national account sales. As an employee of Hyundai Construction Equipment for more than 20 years, Park has experience in the material-handling industry, and has a marketing degree from Hofstra University.

“Stan’s longtime experience supporting and growing our dealer network, extensive management background and proven leadership will reinforce our dealers’ and customers’ growing trust in the Hyundai Construction Equipment brand,” said M.S. Kang, president, Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas.

Owen will be responsible for leading the team that reaches and supports equipment customers whose jobsites and business scope extends across North America. Most recently, he served as national sales manager for the company, responsible for inside and outside sales teams for Hyundai’s construction equipment products. Owen has extensive experience in strategic sales and distribution management within the heavy equipment industry, with more than 25 years holding key sales and marketing positions at leading global OEMs. Owen has an agricultural engineering degree from Iowa St. University.

“Tom understands the strategic and tactical requirements of customers with multi-state, multi-province operations and will work to help ensure that Hyundai and our expanding dealer network meet the needs of these customers,” said Kang. “His strategic outlook and dedication to achieving outstanding results make him an excellent fit to lead our national sales efforts.”
