Hageman, Stansberry & Associates, a leading consulting firm to the equipment and party rental industry, announced its 10-year anniversary in business this week. In celebrating a decade in business, the partners — Fred Hageman and Gary Stansberry — unveiled a new logo and newly designed website.

“Our new logo incorporates our website, rentaladvisors.com, as well as a light tower and a tent to signify our firm’s dedication strictly to the equipment and party rental industry,” Hageman said. “Our new website showcases the broad range of services we offer to independent rental operators including business sales, business valuations and operational consulting. In addition, we offer industry specific tips and advice through our weekly blog that is now a part of our website.”

Before founding HS&A, Hageman and Stansberry both worked for national rental companies as mergers and acquisitions specialists during the consolidation boom of the late 1990s. Before meeting and working on acquisitions together, Stansberry founded, operated and sold an equipment rental company in Dallas, and Hageman was a sales executive at two different manufacturers serving the rental industry.

“After working together for a couple of years doing acquisitions for a publicly traded rental company, it became very clear to us that there was a real need for honest, rental industry-specific M&A advisors to the industry,” said Stansberry. “Hence, the start of our partnership.”

The partners estimate they’ve seen and analyzed more than 3,000 rental companies during their 20+-years each in the rental industry. Together, they’ve handled more than 100 rental industry transactions worth more than $1 billion in transaction value.
