Grand Re-opening of HERC Modesto Draws More Than 600

Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. celebrated the grand re-opening of its Modesto, Calif., general rental facility on Friday, April 13. The event, which drew more than 600 people, showcased the facility’s showroom and newly expanded product line, which includes small tools, equipment and contractors’ supplies.

At the grand re-opening, vendor demonstrations and literature were available, a free lunch was catered, giveaways were provided on site and local radio station KAT Country 103.3 broadcast live from the event. HERC management participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Teresa Kinney, representing U.S. Congressman Dennis Cardoza; Doug Miller, representing California state assemblyman Tom Berryhill; and Nita Gruendeman, a representative from the Modesto Chamber of Commerce.

Park Ridge, N.J.-based HERC, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Hertz Corp., is No. 3 on the RER 100.
