Former Amquip CEO Bardonaro Joins Terex Cranes

Frank Bardonaro, president and CEO of Amquip Crane Rental Co. for the past nine years, has joined Terex Cranes as vice president and managing director of the Americas region.

Frank Bardonaro, president and CEO of Amquip Crane Rental Co. for the past nine years, has joined Terex Cranes as vice president and managing director of the Americas region.

“Coming from the distribution and operational side of our industry, Frank’s considerable knowledge will be a great asset to our Terex team as we develop even stronger dealer and customer relationships supported by superior aftermarket services,” said Rick Nichols, president of Terex Cranes. “Frank will play an important leadership role as we continue building the Terex Cranes brand and our product offerings. He will have direct responsibility for the Americas region, and will oversee the general managers who lead operations within the United States.”

Amquip, one of the leading crane rental companies in the U.S., grew considerably during Bardonaro’s tenure. He stepped down as Amquip CEO in August, and continues to serve on Amquip’s board. Before joining Amquip, Bardonaro was operations manager for Maxim Crane Rental. He is currently the chairman of the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association.

Bardonaro replaces Marco Gentilini, who is transitioning to the newly created position of vice president, cranes business integration projects.
