Aerial lift parts provider Equipment Parts Wholesale this week opened its East Coast distribution center in Louisville, Ky., in conjunction with its 10-year anniversary in business. EPW is hosting a public open house celebration on Sept. 23, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Visitors will have the opportunity to tour the warehouse, talk with staff from both the California and Kentucky locations, and eat lunch.

EPW started in Fresno, Calif., on Aug. 1, 2001. The East Coast expansion, which was planned to help celebrate the 10-year milestone, was the company’s solution to offer 80-percent or more of its customers faster transit times and better shipping options. With the addition of the East Coast distribution center, now all locations in the United States will receive parts by ground in two days for less (longer for Alaska and Hawaii).

“With these economical times, we felt it was necessary to make changes that made it easier for businesses to purchase parts quickly when needed, instead of stocking for long term,” said Brian MacFarland, president, EPW. “By being in two places at once, we can seamlessly offer everything the customer needs. The change was a good business decision and a positive way to start off EPW’s next decade.”

EPW is a one-stop parts shop for aerial lift equipment owners and rental businesses.
