Echelon Delay to Have Minimal Impact on Ahern Rentals

Aug. 8, 2008
Las Vegas-based Ahern Rentals, the leading player in providing rental equipment for large construction projects on the Las Vegas Strip, last week said less than 1 percent of its fleet will be affected by Boyd Gaming Corp.’s recent decision to delay its large Echelon project. Because of Ahern Rentals’ diversification in the Las Vegas market, the company said the delay would have a minimal impact on its operations, although it will contribute to a reduction in Ahern’s near-term purchase of equipment for its rental fleet.
