Doosan Portable Power Names Roland Machinery New Dealer

Doosan Portable Power named Springfield, Ill.-based Roland Machinery Co. an authorized dealer of portable and utility-mount air compressors, generators, lighting systems and light compaction equipment. In addition to its corporate office, Roland Machinery also has 14 additional full-service facilities located in five Midwestern states.

Roland Machinery Co. was founded by E. Earl Roland in 1958 as a construction equipment dealer serving Central Illinois. Today, the company serves many related industries including earthmoving, sewer, highway construction and demolition, quarry, mining, scrap metal and steel, forestry, pipeline, industrial and agricultural markets.

“The Doosan product line fits nicely within the many market segments we serve,” said Matt Roland, president. “The partnership with Doosan Portable Power complements our already premier line of equipment offerings, while filling an important niche that allows us to better serve our loyal customer base.”

Roland Machinery will distribute Doosan portable and utility mount air compressors, generators, lighting systems and light compaction equipment across a territory that includes 58 counties in central and eastern Missouri and 24 central and eastern Illinois counties. The company is also authorized to distribute Doosan portable air compressors, lighting systems, utility-mount air compressors and light compaction equipment throughout the entire state of Wisconsin and 15 counties within the Upper Peninsula region of Michigan.
