Joe Jabbour, sales manager for Doosan Infracore Portable Power, formerly Ingersoll Rand Utility Equipment, was recently honored with a Special Service Award from the American Rental Association. The award was presented to Jabbour at The Rental Show 2008 on Feb. 11.

Jabbour began his career in the equipment rental industry in 1971. His legacy to the industry continues to be a strong work ethic along with high regard for individuals in the industry and within ARA. Through the years, Jabbour has worked with multiple generations of families to provide professional expertise to help their rental businesses succeed.

In 1996, Jabbour was the first associate member to be elected to the ARA board of directors. He continues to be an advocate of Doosan Infracore Portable Power's sponsorship and involvement at The Rental Show. He has also participated in the ARA's legislative caucuses.

“It was an honor to receive the Special Service Award because I have such tremendous respect and appreciation for the ARA and its members,” Jabbour said. “I was especially happy to receive the award during my 36th Rental Show. I could not have worked as closely with the rental industry over the years without the support and commitment of Ingersoll Rand, now Doosan Infracore Portable Power.”

ARA Special Service Awards are presented to individuals who work outside of the general rental business, but provide an outstanding service or contribution for the good of the rental industry.
